Dr Kevin Sweeney

Newcastle Amnesty International

Kevin's background is in health. He worked as a General Practitioner in rural NSW before moving to Newcastle to work in medical education and then health management. He currently works in a voluntary capacity as the Convenor of the Newcastle Amnesty International group and is passionate about human rights and changing Australia’s unjust treatment of refugees and people seeking asylum.
