Abstract Strategies to reduce transport emissions We will be discussing the importance of enhancing public transport in Newcastle, New South Wales, as part of the city's Newcastle Emission Reduction Plan ("NERP"). We emphasise the need for reliable and efficient public transport to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality. Specific points include the benefits of frequent, fast, and well-connected public transport systems and their role in reducing traffic congestion. We encourage collaboration and input from the attendees during our "table talks" sessions to help shape the city's sustainable future. Presentation
