Dr Richard Finlay-JonesNewcastle Offshore Wind
Richard is a veteran of the Australian Wind Industry with over 20 years experience in developing wind energy projects for developers, utlities and EPC contractors. Richard is a Director of Pilbara Solar, an aboriginal company developing renewable energy projects for Traditional Custodians and Communities in NW WA. Richard is also a co-founder of CLEANaS.
Abstract Newcastle Offshore Wind The Newcastle Offshore Wind energy project is one of several applicants for the Hunter Offshore Wind Zone. The NOW project is a floating wind energy proposal comprising up to 2GW of offshore wind energy off the Hunter coastline. The project is being developed by EDF Renewables which is one of the largest renewable energy developers in the world.
